Creativity can be a driving force for business, for change and good in the world. Creativity has a role to play in our everyday lives be it as a start-up or a blogger, a mid size SME recovering from the COVID 19 pandemic or a full on multifunctional trying to reduce its carbon footprint.
Where does creativity come from? How do you nurture it? Can creativity help tackle some of the world’s complex challenges? How can we harness it for the benefit of humanity? These are some of the questions that we foresee getting answers to at the inaugural Creativity Matters Conference 2023.
It is generally accepted that creativity is usually in the sphere of brands, marketing, customer experience etc but it can also be in business strategy, operations management, community development, the government sector and a whole lot of other areas.
INTRODUCTION
Creativity is the ability to transform vision into reality through inspiration and it is that transformative effect that changes lives, communities and the world for the better.
The theme for 2023 is The Essence of Humanity. Everyday, creation and creativity live in us, It is all round us, like love, beauty, fantasy, and imagination. Creativity, design and innovation have throughout the years helped solve some of the world’s problems. Be they commercial or humanitarian like public health pandemics, climate change, hunger etc.
The conference seeks to bring together like-minded people to share ideas, get inspired by what others have done, and how they have used creativity to solve challenges in their various areas of work and influence.
It seeks to bring together both the public and private sectors in coming up with solutions that not only elevate the creative industry, but also benefit communities and contribute towards the implementation of the national agenda
